WELCOME TO THE SOIMUL ASSOCIATION
AVPS Soimul Gorj manages three hunting funds located in the most beautiful tourist area of Gorj County, at the foot of the Parang and Valcan Mountains, in the beech and oak forests of the Getic Subcarpathians.
The surface of the three hunting funds is 23.641 hectares.
The hunting parties organized by us take place in an exceptional natural setting. The specificity of the areas in our hunting grounds creates unique experiences for the hunter who is found either in a hunting stand for wild boar or deer, or for a hunt for rabbits, pheasants or predators.

Hunting species
PHEASANT
It was introduced in Romania a long time ago, before 1500 in western Transylvania and after 1900 in the south of the country.
HARE
The hare remains the most frequently hunted, present throughout the country, with a maximum density in the plain area.
DEER
It represents a common species, found from mountain forests to the Danube Delta, mainly in the area of hills and plains.
Jackal
Originally from India, it expanded to the Balkans, then to central Europe, expanding northward.
Fox
It is very common in Romania, from the mountain hollow to the shores of the Black Sea, especially in the plains.
Wild boar
It is one of the species of wide hunting interest with the most pronounced ecological plasticity in Romania.
